Who Are The Wicked?
Those who do not accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and live their lives in sin and disobedience to HIM.
Psalm 14:2-3 (NAS)
2 The LORD has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. 3 They have all turned aside, together they have become corrupt; There is no one who does good, not even one.
Who Are The Righteous?
Those who have accepted Jesus Christ, by faith, as their personal Lord and Savior and have been cleansed from their sin and justified by the sacrifice of HIS death on the cross and resurrection.
Those who now live to trust and obey the LORD and become the man or woman they were created to be and do HIS will in their life.
Why Is Rejecting Jesus So Hurtful To God? When You Deny Jesus Christ As Lord, You Also Deny God As God
Why? Who was the Father of Jesus Christ? God the Father HIMSELF, who sent HIS Holy Spirit upon Mary.
Luke 1:35 NIV
35 The angel answered (Mary), “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.”
Matthew 1:21 NIV
21 “She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”
When You Deny The Bible As The Word Of God You Deny Jesus
Why? Because Jesus is The Living Word. He fulfilled every prophecy in the Old Testament proving his title as Christ THE MESSIAH. The entire Bible is the story of HIS life from creation to Revelation.
John 1:14 NIV
14 The Word became flesh (Jesus) and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
When You Deny The Bible As God’s Word You Deny The Holy Spirit
Why? Who wrote the Bible? The Holy Spirit.
2 Peter 1:20-21 NIV
20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation. 21 For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
2 Timothy 3:15-17 NIV
15 and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
